Sound Bath

Sunday 19th January & 16th February 19.00-20.00

 

A Sound Bath is a deeply relaxing and meditative experience where you are bathed in the sound waves produced by gongs, singing bowls, chimes and other instruments.

 

You will need to bring a yoga mat, blankets and a pillow

Celebrate the life and works of Scotland's national bard with great food, poetry, music, and dancing.

From Injury to Inspiration - Swimming The Channel with a Stoma

Saturday 1st February from 19.00

Join us for a cheese and wine evening with Gill Castle, a Mum from Alnwick, and hear her inspirational story of overcoming serious injury during childbirth, to become the first woman to swim the channel solo with a stoma.

Three Men in a Boat

Saturday 1st March - 18.30 for 19.00

50 years ago, three local lads (John Hall, Ted Lawson and George Ternent) sailed a small boat to the USA. In Barbados they founded the River Aln Boat Club. John Hall kept a brilliant diary of the trip

· Slideshow of their ‘holiday snaps’
